Job Purpose:

Manage and control the movement of trucks by Overland

Key Accountabilities:

• Performing day-to-day operational activities and making decisions to support the needs of the business. Responding to incoming emails, telephone calls, and other queries.
• Negotiate and secure reduced rates from truckers for various destinations
• Handle customer complaints, and investigate delivery issues
• Dispatch trucks for loading on day to day basis
• Liaising with drivers ensuring that their routes run as smoothly as possible, Re-routing drivers if problems occur and advising customers of any delays
• Preparation of certificate of origin and legalization from the ministry
• Issue dispatch contacts to the truckers
• Provide truckers with export bayans and arrange for advance payments
• Obtaining truckers based on customer requirement, nature of goods shipped, or cost-effectiveness.
• Job registration and ensuring all files are closed within the agreed timelines 
• Coordinating with clearance team to arrange all formalities for clearance
• Updating internal systems IFACT/ SAP and other record sheets maintained at every stage of shipment
• Liaising with customers, drivers, and other operational departments
• Updating all parties concerned proactively regarding their status of shipments
• Processing all payments for Insurance Agent, External Transporters, etc
• Arranging cargo insurance with Enaya Insurance team
• Coordinating with transporter and warehouse for delivery of goods
• Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.
• Management reporting and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
