Summary Role: 

Supervise Information Technology (IT) Department, manages computer systems and software oversees equipment purchasing and installation, and maintains computer networks and connectivity. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinates IT support, training, and orientation for new technology users
•    Ensures efficient and effective technology and Internet access for a group of users
•    Organize troubleshooting or repair when necessary for IT equipment
•    Oversees information security and maintains network and user security through hardware or software

installation or through education

•     Implements an IT budget for the organization as a whole or for specific departments
•     Tracks inventory and status for hardware and software throughout an organization
•     Establishes relationships with technology vendors
•     Advises about organisation’s IT equipment, networking, and connectivity needs and purchases products,

parts, and services as necessary

•     Supervises IT department staff, including setting schedules, implementing training, and assessing

performance

•     Manages a team of specialists in support, installation, networks, and purchase
•     Works with HR Department to identify staffing needs and participates in the hiring process
•     Develops emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data
•     Researches and stays up to date regarding new IT equipment and solutions
•     Attends trade exhibitions and workshops to keep abreast of new developments
•     Develop and maintain information technology plans which outline project status individual tasks,

milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation.

•     Coordinate contractors and service delivery for payments Inspect projects for quality assurance.
•     Ensure customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with clients.
•     Document all estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork
•     Work with technical team to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects
•     Running regular checks on a network and data security
•     Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
•     Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
•     Leading IT projects, Include the design and deployment of IT systems
•     Monitoring performance of an information technology system to determine cost and productivity level, and

to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure

•     Assessing vendors and developing test strategies for new hardware and software
•     Managing the E-commerce Platform.
•     Monthly Business Review with the Internet Service providers for a timely resolution of all Internet Outages,

SLA adherence, and other Internet-related issues.

•     Experience working in a Service Excellence role, whereby the main function was to ensure network,

security, and server configurations were to standard and the best practices were being implemented.
