Basic Function

Supply Chain Director leads the supply chain team, process and execution for the company inside Iraq and overseas as well. SCD is responsible to develop Supply Chain strategies and manage the entire division on a daily basis, also develop SCM polices & procedures to better improve the entire Supply Chain Division.

  Duties & Responsibilities 

• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy for the Entire company operation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams for better results.
• Determine the KPI’s for the Supply Chain Division.
• Create and implement Supply Chain policies & procedures that Suggest solutions for process improvements.
• Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
• Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
• Develop Supply Chain & Distribution Strategy based on local market & company branches needs.
• Responsible for products demand planning in coordination with the sales Director.
• Setting the optimum inventory levels considering cash net working capital & end customer service level.
• Manage procurement, to ensure product availability by monitoring planning & delivery plans while maintaining stocks at the right levels, avoiding obsolescence.& ensuring best inventory turnover.
• Define the required material for warehousing capacity, to accommodate all materials at the right conditions meeting the company standards.
• Responsible to design and implement the logistics policies and procedures that ensure best customer service level and optimum cost.
• Responsible for conducting regular meetings with sales Directors and top customers to discuss ways to improve efficiency & customer satisfaction.
• Responsible to cascade the global/regional SC strategies down to the local team and ensure excellent execution.
• Responsible to coach, motivate and assess SC/CS team to ensure better service Delivery.
• Responsible to monitor and update the master data in the SAP system.
• Any other tasks related to the job.
