Basic Function

Director of sales is responsible to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company’s short and long-term sales goals. Also manages all of the sales activities and entire sales workforce as well.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company’s short and long-term sales goals.
• Oversee the overall sales budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resources and priorities spending.
• Develop pricing and discount strategies to maximize sales revenue.
• Pursue major prospects and negotiate terms of sales with major clients that will maximize the company’s business interests.
• Maintain consistent contact and provide sales and service to all customers (retailers and distributors) in all targeted specific regions inside & outside Iraq.
• Achieve sales revenue numbers, budget & profit goals for the entire business.
• Provide and utilize syndicated data to identify sales opportunities and develop sales presentations for company owners & Top Management.
• Attend trade shows as required to benefit the business.
• Develop key relationships with all clients specially the key clients.
• Maintain a pipeline full of sales.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager & Supply Chain Manager as well to ease the execution process of the entire company strategy and objectives.
• Provide the General Manager with updated sales reports that show the daily, weekly, monthly & yearly sales progress.
• Observe local and national trends in the market that might help in doing some useful change to the company strategy or any other procedure that might improve the business.
• Manage sales managers and the entire sales force as per to the reporting line and sales structure.
• Any other duties related to the job.
