Liaise with Air/Sea Freight , co-loaders , shipping lines, transporters to ensure timely delivery of customers shipment to various destination to meet customer demand with no delay.Coordinate with freight forwarders/ shipping lines/Clearing agency to avoid any delays and reduce conflicts.Process import/export shipping documentation ( B/L, COO…etc).Process other shipping documentation related responsibilities.Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates to keep costs down where possible.Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to. make sure established deadlines are met.Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.Tracking and fixing shipping errors.Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.Check invoices against source documents and correct any errors.Keep contract files and use them as reference for the future.Process any supply/logistics provider complaints.
