Assume responsibility and represent the design department for all aspects related to structural engineering.

Provide leadership in all relevant departmental functions.

Lead external & internal coordination pertinent to structural inception & design.

Review, comment/recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants’ submissions from conceptual design through to design completion.

\[

Maintain quality control and quality standards in all work output, computations, designs, drawings, plans, estimates and reports. Ensure that technical tasks undertaken in accordance with the Ashghal’s quality, safety and project management / engineering procedures and controls.

Use technical expertise to help team members in design activities, resolve any technical queries which might arise, check and approve designs and drawings.

Enforce corporate QA/QC policies. Ensure highest quality fulfilment of project related contractual requirements.

Contribute to the development of standard details and specification updates.

\[

Comprehensive responsibility for management and control of related functions in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management.

\[

Performance of actual design duties as directed.

\[

Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.
