Title : Career counselor

Workforce Development Solutions offers career development and planning interventions to students and young adults in the MiddleEast. We are dedicated to helping our clients find their career path and develop individualized plans of action to reach their goals. 

Job Duties 

• Guide students in determining their interests and abilities using a wide range of methods, such as aptitude assessments, interviews and planning materials 
• Work with students to overcome issues that could undermine their academic or career success 
• Offer focus and clarity to struggling students in selecting career paths and majors
• Monitor student progress and reports to determine potential problems
• Prepare reports and update students files in the system 
• Help students craft a long-term plan for reaching their career objectives
• All counseling sessions will be done via video or audio conferencing tools

Minimum Requirements 

• Masters Degree in Counseling Studies, Professional Counseling, Community Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Career Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or education
• At least 3 years of experience in the field
• Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal, presentation, computer (word processing, internet, email, database) and organizational skills.

Benefits and Compensation 

• This is a contract based opportunity 
• Pay range ($200-$300) depending on qualifications and experience level. Will advance to a pay range of $300-$400 after two months of work
