The Role Your role will involve working tightly within our Platform Development team, developing and maintaining a variety of content management tools and Babeleye management platform, bespoke applications, and integrations. This involves working closely with the other teams to turn their ideas into working functionality. At times you will also be required to assist in maintaining the IT and Network infrastructure Key Responsibilities Manage the full software lifecycle of our platform development and maintain it with our data repository Working with a team of developers in an agile environment to produce high-quality web applications Contributing to the architectural design and technology selection processes Initiate periodic testing and implement contingency plans in case of systems failure Maintain our internal management platform Assist in developing reporting, management information and business intelligence tools internally Keep abreast of the latest industry developments About you You have proven experience developing great PHP applications You are familiar with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery front-end development, and already worked with CSS3, HTML5, and responsive web design You have great people skills enabling you to have fun within our small team, as well as being able to effectively manage relationships, understand and interpret needs and requirements, and provide updates on project progress. We like to stay ahead of the game and to do that we need people who are committed to staying up to date with the latest technologies. You are committed to your own training and development and we will also offer extensive support in this area. Formal Education or Equivalent Preference would be given to graduates of Engineering faculties, but we really don't care as long as you show us your great achievements
