Join Modern Interiors as a Procurement Engineer now.Job Description and Responsibilities:1- Compare the prices of sub-contractors with the proposed prices from the Estimation Department, Prepare the contract of sub-contractors referring to the contract with the owner to determine the project duration and method of payment.2- Issue advanced payment certificate for the sub-contractors according to the contract conditions.3- Attach the approved cost sheet with the advanced payment certificate4- Review quantities of the major items before contracting and proceeding with advanced payment in coordination with the Technical Dep5- Review the quantities of purchase orders as per approved shop drawings in coordination with the Technical Dep. and add waste ratios according to the availability of material in the local markets or imported6- Follow-up with the Financial Dep. till receiving the copy of the amounts to be paid7- Submit a copy of the amounts to be paid to the Procurement Dep. Coordinator who in turn will inform sub-contractors that payments are ready to be collectedB – On Site Works Stage:1 - Review current invoices for sub-contractors sent by the project manager according to the approved percentage of the invoice issued or certified by the client.2 - In case of necessity, the project manager can increase the percentage of completion in sub-contractor invoice than the approved invoice issued by the client in according to the work progress on site and project schedule.C – Project Completion Stage: 1 - Review final invoices for sub-contractors sent by project manager and calculate the final cost of the project before sending the final invoice to the consultant and client. 2 - Re-review sub-contractors final invoices' quantities and any deductions ratios after receiving a copy of the approved final invoice after review by the consultant and client.
