The Electro-mechanical Engineer uses electrical and electronic engineering theories and principles to design, operate, test and produce computer-controlled mechanical systems.
• Reading blueprints to detetmine the ways and sequences to assemble equipment. !
• Proper knowledge and use of tools such as microscopes, power tools,.oscilloscopes and soldering irons to assemble and align equipment.
• Ensure that the specifications and dimensions are correct and then conduct performance tests.
• Properly record the information about the performance test, such as any defects, and proper analysis of mechanical information.
• Align, fit, and assemble component patis, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes.
• Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation.
• Inspect parts for surface defects.
• Install electrical and electronic patis and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
• Prepares the necessary reports to senior management.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of patis to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
• Develop, test, and program new robots.
• Operate metalworking machines to fabricate fittings and fixtures.
• Train others to install, use, and maintain robots.
• Undertakes any other assignment as per his direct superior instructions.
