Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. Action Against Hunger is looking for its program in Jordan Assessment Worker– MEAL Dept. IRBID.
Specific Objective: The assessment worker is responsible of collecting data in the field for MEAL activities; the assessment worker is the first line of intervention with refugees and vulnerable host communities.
Objective 1 : Collect information and data:
- Carry out household surveys;
- Ensure coherence of collected information;
- Report any problems, constraints and complaints;
- Vulnerability identification of the beneficiaries;
- Propose possible improvements.
Objective 2: Carry out assessment:
- Identify local capacities in the villages (key persons);
- Apply the defined methodologies (development, duration, number of participants etc.);
- Keep supervisor informed of the activities, problems and success;
- Collection of households data at field level;
- Propose possible improvements.
Objective 3: Assistance distribution and follow-up:
- Assistance at projects distribution events as planned and requested by the supervisor;
- Follow-up and monitoring of the projects impact.
Objective 4: Communicate the organization’s activities and objectives to the partners:
Activities:
- Explain the project’s activities and objectives to the partners and the population;
- Represent the Organization in meetings with the beneficiaries.
