- Maintain customer database and keep contact with the existing customer and new customers to understand their needs, and to explain how to meet the requirements with the specific products.
- Monitor and report to the Sales manager the requirements of customers’ which is not in the stocks and suggesting additional related products to improve sales.
- Advising customers’ on substitution or modification when identical materials are not available when required and resolve customers' queries about products, prices and availability.
- Keep update on market situation and report competitor prices to the management for possible actions.
- Research the availability pertaining to our products, either within the retail facility or from other sources as necessary and perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
- Must be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customers questions and provide information about the products and availability.
- Provide quotations and estimates within the time frame.
- Ensure quality of work, finish the Projects and deliver in the agreed time frame.
- Maintain a high degree of expertise with Storage, Racking/Warehouse system, business and functions performed in order to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction with the products and services.
- Discreetly handle customers’ complaints in a professional manner.
- Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
