Scope of Work

· Proactively ensure availability of system and data infrastructure to support high-throughput operations.

· Manage and maintain current systems and data infrastructure.

· Contribute to continuous improvements of automated pipelines and data processing workflows.

· Design, build and maintain new systems to reduce human intervention, optimize workflows and improve throughput and turnaround times.

· Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance for the lab computers from a computational perspective with other staff members.

· Follow and implement security standards to ensure compliance and continuous, safe, and secure operations.

· Provide support to other BCL team members, users, PIs, external users, IT, and administrators of the computing clusters among others.

· Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of his/her position.
