• Ensures optimal inventory of parts to respond to customer inquiries. Permanent control of minimum stock with view on future service needs.
• Assures the most appropriate inventory levels through careful planning and analysis of demand, usage, forecasts, industry trends, etc.
• Present analytics and reports to various levels of management
• Manages inventory at warehouse level and makes recommendations on inner warehouse product transfers.
• Creates and generates daily/weekly/monthly aging reports as needed.
• Understanding of general transportation modes, pricing, and business practices
• Understands impact of seasonality and “in and out” items.
• Responsible for building an appropriate inventory mix and to support new introduced equipment.
• Develop in season pricing strategies with appropriate margin for discontinued and old aged inventories.
• Visit suppliers, stores and warehouses as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned
