• Ensure availability and performance of all system-related hardware, software, and operating systems and system tasks throughout 365 days per year and 24 hours per day, according to the NIC availability and performance targets.
• Working relationships Works closely with systems support, Networking, and data center groups
• Problem recognition, analysis, solving, and escalation to support if the problem persists.
• Open incident tickets
• A restart of system tasks (manual or via AOC, SA)
• Perform system IPL's
• Monitor batch jobs (i.e. weekly and monthly backups)
• Operating and monitoring of VTS and printers.
• Documentation of computer center procedures.
• strong communication and team skills in a distributed environment
