KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMonitors all database servers (OS Disk Storage, CPU, Memory, and Tablespaces, logs, locks and performance) and take the necessary actions when needed.Responsible for database backup, recovery tasks to ensure proper operations and restores Database according to business need.Analyzes database logs, audit and identifying potential issues with the servers and storages.Provides technical support to Systems administrators, Application development team.Creates the Database regular health check procedures.Supports systems reporting tools and creates any required reporting requirements.Maintains all security needed aspects to keep the Database secured.Performance database reorganizations as required to assess performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEOwnershipFunctional SkillsIdeas presentation and Taking initiativeContinuous LearningCustomer CentricityMySQL experience is a very high advantageV good experience on ORACLE EPS AdministrationSolid understanding of database administration, architecture and infrastructureStrong experience of BACKUP, Replication and performanceV good experience on SQL Query and stored procedureExperience in adjusting queries to enhance performanceExperience with management of database policies, procedures, and technical standardsLinux OS Platform Knowledge is a must (as a database admin)  PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1-3 years of experienceEDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field, ITI graduate is an added plus    Responsible for all Databases maintenance (install, updates, maintain integrity, DB performance, systems logs archiving and optimization).
