Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of all work procedures, checklists and the maintaining of all required documents / records to meet all required OSHA / Ministry requirements and API Standards.


• Assist in the development and implementation of programs and action plans to ensure business goals and targets are met.


• Collaborate effectively with all departments for overall optimization of Health & Safety at ArcelorMittal Jubail.


• Assist with the development of employees to gain excellent knowledge of Health & Safety practices.


• Be part of a Team that fosters engagement, ownership, World Class Health & Safety practices and behaviors.


• Participate and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continual improvement of systems, processes, and practices.


• Support and contribute to the successful completion of Projects and Sub-Projects.


• Participate in the training of new operations Team Leaders, Shift Leaders, Process Engineers and Specialists by providing them with Health, Safety and Environment information so they learn the skills necessary to do the job safely and proficiently.


• Meet all department performance goals.


• Conduct workplace audits to minimize or alleviate unsafe workplace behaviors / conditions and prevent workplace accidents.


• Problem solve and provide recommendations related to workplace practices / conditions and accident investigations.


• Provide advice and guidance to managers / supervisors and employees to ensure all regulations / standards / process and procedure compliance.
