- Recommends and maintains information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.
- Conducts researches and implements technological strategic solutions and submit suggestions / recommendations to executive management.
- Ensure that executive management is kept up to date on the latest industry related technologies.
- Initiates, coordinates, and enforces IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
- Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Designs IT disaster recovery plan and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
- Identifies problems in IT structure & system and resolve them at first priority.
- Evaluates latest trends in food & beverage IT industry.
- Maintains quality and efficient service to departments by establishing and enforcing organization SOP.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Designing IT related training programs and workshops for managers and concerned employees, if there is any need.
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with concerned managers and employees.
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages etc.
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
- Conducts annual / periodical performance reviews and provides guidance, coaching and direction for IT team members.
- Work closely with department heads and users to determine business needs and ensure smooth operation of IT hardware and software.
- Conduct and report on regular internal IT audits, including but not limited to:
- Risk detection & prevention
- Systems performance & integrity
- Best practices and IT governance
- Prepare a monthly IT report for Executive Management.
- Maintain rewarding business relationships with key BFC IT partners & suppliers.
- Plan, evaluate, and manage all annual IT Service and Maintenance contracts.
- Create and maintain a well-documented and up-to-date log of all IT department related records.
