Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an International Luxury Retail brand. Our client is looking to hire an IT Helpdesk who will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
<br />
<br />- Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems, within the Back Office as well as the Front Office requests.
<br />- Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using a help desk management system.
<br />- Track issues to resolve updating the internal knowledgebase and/or communicating learning with relevant business units.
<br />- Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams
<br />- Update daily status reports and shift handover reports.
<br />- Act as a liaison between end users and technical escalation teams.
<br />- Provide a single view to the organization for information technology related problems.
<br />
<br />Requirements- Well versed in Windows/Linux Operating systems
<br />- Proficient with Microsoft Office
<br />- Experience with software, hardware and equipment installs, repairs and upgrades.
<br />- Common IT applications and common hardware knowledge
<br />- Customer Service Skills
<br />- Excellent Communication, written and verbal skills
<br />- Ability to run and terminate category 6 network wire
<br />
