Position Summary

Responsible for designing architectural works in accordance with the project requirements and international standards in projects. Prepare layout and interior designs for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments. They use their specialist construction knowledge and high-level drawing skills to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable.

Scope of work

• Preparing architectural design proposals and detailed drawings

• Prepare drawings regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.

• Review plans, specifications, codes, shop drawings, submittals, procedures, reports. Memos, status reports. Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, specifications, plans.

• Preparing detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a project.

• Directing drafting staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets

• Plan layout of the project, scale drawings and integrate engineering elements into a unified design.

• Visiting building worksites to ensure the design is being fit according to architectural plans.

• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of his/her position.
