A Quality Specialist with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and a key member of our Fragrance Dubai Application team providing essential support for both our Fine Fragrance and Fragrance Consumer Products Development teams, and based in Dubai - Your future position?

Our Creative Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai provides critical lab support & analytical study for different fragrance applications and ingredients for our Creative Fragrance Development teams for Fine Fragrance and Consumer Products, to help us provide unique and winning fragrance options for our customers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Due to increasing project pipelines and commitments, we are now establishing a new Quality Control team within our Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai and hiring for a ‘Quality Specialist’. You will support the execution of the Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) strategies for our Fragrance Creation and Application Labs in Dubai. You will inspect and analyse fragrance raw materials and finished goods by performing sensory, physical, and analytical tests to secure compliance.

The role will be based in our Dubai Media City office and report to the Regional Quality Control Manager with excellent opportunities for learning and development in a very creative environment.

In this exciting role, you will: 

Bring your passion - 

• Perform various quality control sensory assessments, including organoleptic (e.g. odour & taste) and visual determinations (e.g. colour and appearance).
• Perform various quality control measurements (e.g. specific gravity, refractive index, melting point, flashpoint) to determine the physical characteristics of the fragrance sample.
• Coordinate the internal audit programme and participate in internal audits as an auditor.

Utilise the very best of you - 

• Lead investigations into non-conformance and batch release decisions for fragrance samples associated with processing deviations
• Implement continuous improvements for Quality Control and drive proactive initiatives. 

Improve efficiency and excellence -

• Responsible for the ongoing collection of quality metrics, e.g. complaint data, internal non-conformance data, supplier quality metrics and ensure appropriate reporting. 
• Maintain and demonstrate a level of awareness of quality-related policies, standards, procedures and requirements. 
• Fulfil the document manager role for site Quality Management System regulated documents and records.
