A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail.They must fully understand the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition.The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.Responsibilities:Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specificationsAssessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are metSetting customer service standardsSpecifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliersInvestigating and setting standards for quality and health and safetyEnsuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international levelWorking with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and proceduresWriting management and technical reports and customers’ chartersDetermining training needsActing as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and qualityDirecting objectives to maximize profitabilityRecording, analyzing and distributing statistical informationMonitoring performanceSupervising technical or laboratory staff.
