IT Planning & Governance – Sr. Manager - ALDARA Medical Corp. June 06, 2021 at 09:40PM
Role Description:
To define and align the IT strategy with Aldara business objectives, oversee the definition of Al Dara IT architecture and standards, ensure the prioritization of IT initiatives by the business, and manage awareness/communication activities resulting from IT initiatives Roles and Responsibilities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
1- Strategy and Planning:
- Provide input for Improvements and plans to work closely with Executive Director - IMT
- Participate in the development of IT Roadmaps and ensure implementation is in line with Information Technology and Aldara's corporate strategy
- Manages the IT strategy's definition and aligns with Al Dara's business strategy by setting the joint direction in collaboration with the Executive Management Team
- Oversees the development of IT initiatives and overall IT roadmap to materialize them
- Manages the securement of budget from Al Dara initiatives to execute their IT-related planning
- Oversees the allocation of budget/resources, prioritization of projects in the pipeline based on business needs and IT capacity
- Ensures transparency on actual cost/spending through financial reporting and IT controlling reports
- Manages the definition and monitoring of KPIs related to IT business value and IT performance
- Oversees the definition of process optimization frameworks and initiatives
- Leads the definition of the enterprise architecture (EA) and technology standards used within the IT organization
2- Policies, Processes, and Procedures:
- Coordinates the provision of the IT strategy and related IT governance policies.
- Provides direction and guidance on IT adoption & compliance through governance and review boards.
- Enable guidance towards adoption of total & radical solutions.
- Enable processes and apply mechanisms to examine technology architectures
3- People Management:
- Coordinates the provision of the IT strategy and related IT governance
- Provides motivational and inspirational leadership and communicates to direct reports clear performance expectations
- Manages the performance and resources through delegation of responsibility, setting stretch objectives and providing regular feedback on results at a unit level, promptly addressing areas of underperformance
- Monitors and assesses the skills, capabilities, and capacities and determines the actions needed to increase the unit's impact
- Supports filling in key capability gaps of teams through capacity development and recruiting efforts
- Coaches, mentors, and develops the direct reports and the top talent/high potential staff
- Acts as a role model to communicate to the department as values and leadership competencies and provides direction and required support in times of change
