Leading the Legal function and legal team of the Group.Standardization and unification of policies and procedures.Auditing and Monitoring compliance to Group legal strategies, policies and values.Acts as an expert and leader who helps the company minimize its legal risks by advising company's other officers and Chairman on any major legal and regulatory issues. The Group Director will be responsible for building and maintaining a culture that combines the highest standards of integrity with responsive, practical approaches to furthering the work of the Group.Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company.• Identify, analyze and report on important legislative and regulatory developments.• Provide legal counsel on issues arising from actual or anticipated lawsuits, and to prevent future ones.Handle all legal cases and disputes and advise Chairman/Group CEO on the right action.• Develop and recommend company policy and position on legal issues.Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the Group’s Legal matters.Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programsOverseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and prioritiesMaintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, and governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at largeAdvising the Chairman and other senior Group officers on a variety of issuesParticipating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management teamManaging a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal department.Eliminate/reduce Group liabilities by checking all contractual and legal matters.
