The British School - El Rehab is looking for Learning Support Assistants ( LSA ) /  Teacher Assistants  for immediate hiring .Job Summary and Responsibilities:Support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social).Assist with the movement of children in and around the school.Provide support for learning activities by supporting the delivery of learning activitiesSupport in organising effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records.Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom.Support the maintenance of pupil safety and security.Contribute to the management of pupil behaviour by - promoting school policies.Provide clerical/admin support, e.g. photocopying, administer coursework.Support the use of information and communication technology in the classroom.Deliver learning activities to pupils within agreed system of supervision, adjusting activities according to pupil responses/needs.Use ICT effectively to support learning activities and develop pupils’ competence and in-dependence in its use.All LSA's are expected to take their share of supervisory duties on the playground.
