Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Establishes standards and policies for pollution control, waste management, equipment installation or modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles, environmental compliance, and safety regulations.
• Directs maintenance of plant buildings and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys, and preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery. Lead the management of the maintenance function and its personnel.
• Ensures the testing of newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications and ROI expectations.
• Leads overall effort by employee teams to work cross-functionally on solutions to improve efficiency, implement predictive maintenance, schedule, reduce cost and improve quality as well as ensures measurement tools are created and used to track performance and most importantly to sustain ongoing improvement.
