Supervise and lead the workers engaged in all mechanical aspects of construction. Oversees the Mechanical installations, Commissioning and subsequent maintenance, repair and testing activities of all Mechanical equipment in assigned area of the Project

Principal Accountabilities

• Supervises and controls skilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the Mechanical works aspects of the project.  
• Prepares maintenance activities for execution, ensuring permits, tools, materials and equipment in place in accordance with maintenance schedules.
• Completion of planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities
• Responsible for the day to day monitoring of controls / systems

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Supervises and controls skilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the Mechanical works aspects of the project.  
2. Prepares maintenance activities for execution, ensuring permits, tools, materials and equipment in place in accordance with maintenance schedules.
3. Ensures maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with client and industry standard policies and procedure.
4. Ensures that installations are made in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, work drawings, blueprints and other contractual requirements.
5. Implements improvements, changes or new techniques or procedures.
6. Prepares and submits technical work and breakdown reports as and when required.
7. Upholds with organization Safety and QA/QC procedures and strictly enforces them amongst the workforce.
8. Follow up corrective actions and implement countermeasures to minimize reoccurrence of faults.
9. Maintains effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and method statements and tool box talks where appropriate
