We are leading the reinvention of the new insect biotechnology industry with insects that mass-produced. You will be working on something you have probably never done before.We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our ProGrow team as a Senior Scientist. Using your experience, you will ensure that our new processes are standardized and our R&D objectives are achieved in a timely manner in alignment with the company goals. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team of biologists and chemists, as well as colleagues in computational biology and software, AI, and aerospace engineering. Beyond the technical qualifications, you must be highly goal-oriented, inquisitive, organized, independent, collaborative, willing to learn new techniques and concepts and be able to thrive in an atmosphere of shifting demands and priorities.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the development, optimization, and application of molecular biology techniques for solving complex biological problems.The accepted candidate will be responsible for:Planning and execution of experiments, in-depth analysis, and reporting through documentation and presentations.Plan and perform systematic workflow by modeling, identification of critical factors and use of the formal design of experiment (DOE) approaches.Work closely with computational biologists to interpret data generated by novel and optimized assay schemes.Contribute molecular biology expertise and leadership to cross-disciplinary product development members to ensure project milestones are met, the product performs to specifications, and to identify new opportunities and/or new applications of existing products.
