Job Title:     Senior Sales Representative - Altaaqa Alternative Solutions Co. Ltd. (ALTAAQA)

Reports to:    Sales Manager / Branch Manager


Primary purpose of the job:

  • Provide clients with a wide range of power rental energy solutions and products.
  • Search & identify customer enquiries and follow-up.
  • In addition to existing customer coverage, identify, develop and achieve new potential rental business opportunities within the financial targets and objectives as set by the divisional management.


Principal accountabilities:

  • To assist the Sales Manager / Branch Manager in maintaining key accounts, to establish new territories and customers. To motivate and assist in the training of other Sales staff in regard to all technical aspects to enhance and uphold the Company's high standards.
  • Develop, follow-up and maintain continuous good customer relationship within the division's administrative, financial and procedural objectives, as set by divisional management
  • Actively achieve his sales targets and assist in developing new sales territories
  • Obtain and relay detailed information from the customers on their current and future products requirements.
  • Promote positive attitude and maturity within the group and establish credibility with the customers and his fellow employees.
  • Develop a close working relationship with the customer; to know his organisational structure and activities departmental functions, Key Mgmt., financial background, short/long-term requirements and new developments within the customer's organisation.
  • In conjunction with Sales Mgr. & Admin. Assistant, prepare & submit quotations to the clients in accordance to the customers' requirements.
  • Subsequent to quote submittal, maintain a continuous contact with customers to evaluate and note the outcome, in accordance with Divisional procedures.
  • In conjunction with Sales Mgr. & Service Supervisor/manager, follow-up on equipment preparation, delivery and return from/to the customer, if & when a deal is concluded.
  • In conjunction with Sales Mgr., follow-up on payments and collection of any outstanding Rental invoices.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in establishing sales territories with the objective of giving Total Market Coverage (TMC).
  • Utilize all resources to establish market awareness of the products.
  • Identify and fulfil opportunities to further enhance market acceptance.
  • Conduct and assist in the administration of market surveys, and to pass information gained into the appropriate management channel.
  • Act under his own initiative to further satisfy the customer needs according to Company guidelines with the overall objective to achieve and sustain profitability.
  • Keep abreast of all changes in the various models of equipment in the Rental fleet.
