Our company  is seeking an ElectroMechanical /Thermal Design Engineer to join our team. We are located in Ontario Canada. About the companyThe company designs and manufactures various solutions to dissipate heat from electrical and electronic designs.Liquid Cold Plates, Heat Sinks, Heat Pipes, Fans, Assemblies and other devices used to manage temperature in computer, networking, and industrial electronic systems, green energies, medical electronics, traction / E-mobility and more. Our customers take advantage of our value proposition for our extensive knowledge of COOLING SYSTEMS.  We weigh various trade-offs and factors such as functionality, manufacture-ability volume, mass, cost, packaging, efficiency, and the reliability and safety of heat dissipation components.  We use our experience and knowledge gained over the years in many different applications to help you our customers find the right innovative cooling solutions for their application.Many customers also take advantage of our custom metal fabrication capability. Being globally cost competitive in the thermal management product area has also allowed us to help customer consolidate their vendor base for custom metal fabrication such as machining, extrusions, castings, forging, stamping etc. This also includes requirement for various finishes even when cosmetics are critical.About The PositionThe successful candidate will be involved in many different customer applications, with the goal of supporting the sales team to gain new orders/business with existing and new customers. They will support the sales team by: 1) Reviewing mechanical designs and make recommendations to improve manufacture-ability, reduce costs, and/or increase performance. 2) Collaborating with customers at the concept generation and early design stage to create a manufacture-able and functional product, often pushing technological boundaries and bringing ideas from the drawing board to the production ready state. Help customers resolve thermal and other related problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors such as cost, quality, reliability, manufacture-ability, impact to schedule, and process improvement3) Develop thermal management solutions in a CAD environment and ensure it meets target performance through CFD simulation.  Designs related to complex thermal optimization. Develop the most efficient, yet sufficiently thorough method of solving problems.4) Participate in internal staff meetings and customer meetings to resolve quality and production issues.5) Manage production team by establishing quality standards, creating test plans, and devising effective corrective actions.
