Designing and implementing new solutions and improving the resilience of the current environment

"• Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing"

"system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards"

"•   Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches,"

"firewalls, load balances, VPN, QoS, Hosted IP voice services)"

"• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs,"

"patches, hot fixes and security configurations"

• Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability

"•  Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and"

collaborating with network architects on network optimization

"•  Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning"

• Providing level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

•  Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments

•  Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure

"awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure"

"•  Selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with"

the company's security team

•  Supporting and ad ministering firewall environments in line with IT security policy

•  Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

"• Executing configuration, customization and tuning of the support systems."

• Fixing outstanding issues and problems.

"• Identifying upgrading needs, new systems, tools and equipment."

• Maintaining systems' configurations and setup and makes sure al l configurations are documented.

"•  Managing changes, upgrades, enhancements and migration of systems."

"•  Monitoring operational systems and live environment in terms of notifications, errors"

and event logs.

• Monitoring performance and make sure that the current systems have the required

capacity.

"• Preparing specifications, technical requirements and alternative solutions as needed"

• Providing expertise knowledge and solutions

"• Responsible for coordinating work between engineers, second and third level support"

and tracking changes.

• Effectively communicating and collaborating with the IT Manager and other team

Members throughout the resolution of IT issues.

• Available to work critical cases as needed on a 24x7 basis or through an on-call model.

Including weekend coverage as needed.
