We are currently looking for an Information Technology Manager to join our QATAR operations.

Role Purpose:

To provide strategic direction, general management, and operational oversight for the Cluster Information Technology Department. And to improve cost-effectiveness, service quality, and operational productivity through new and improved IT techniques, systems, software, and support.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare an annual strategic and operational IT plan aligned with the Company's objectives and strategies
• Identify resources (human and financial) required to meet the Company's business goals
• Define performance matrices based on the overall Company's business objectives
• Work with the management to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management aligned with the Company's IT risk management
• Establish technology and security standards and ensures adherence to them
• Direct development and execution of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan, thereby safeguarding the Company's assets, intellectual property, and computer systems
• Develop budget estimates and staffing requirements for the Company and recommend them to the management
• Protect the Company assets by installing state of the art technology such as access control systems, video surveillance, etc. Protect Information through network security architecture, network access, monitoring policies, employee education, awareness, etc
• Oversee incidents response planning and the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such violations as necessary
• Recommend upgrades to existing hardware, software, and other products as well as installation of new systems; coordinates their installation, testing, and implementation with the Company's end-users
• Approve, prioritize, and control projects related to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems
• Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development
• Provide technical guidance, establishes priorities, work schedules as necessary to ensure reliable and timely IT support for end-users
• Identify bottlenecks in delivering essential support and make necessary improvements and enhancements to processes/procedures to achieve the same.
• Ensure that IT policies, procedures, and standards are followed at the end-user level and that the IT team understands and implements the same. Guide and educate the end-users and the IT team during uncertainties and conflicts.
• Ensure the IT team follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and establishes standards/ procedures for resolving identified issues and problems with end-users hardware, applications, and systems. 
• Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring IT systems performance.
