Providing complete, accurate and timely financial information/ records for the finalization of the financial statements.

Reviewing LPOs and ensuring that all the documents comply with the company’s internal policies and procedures.

Monitoring and processing all insurance policies (both new and renewal of existing policies) for the area(s) within scope of responsibility.

Liaising within finance department and with other departments in matters related to books of accounts closure activities

Performing month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing activities and reconciliations thereof in order to generate concise and standardized accounting statements.

Performing financial reconciliation of specific accounts (i.e. accrual expenses, prepayments, provisions, GRIRs, advances, right of use assets, lease liabilities etc.) to ensure adequacy and accuracy of all financial data.

Reviewing, analyzing and confirming the financial transactional data of the area(s) within the scope of responsibility on monthly basis.

Analyzing accounting information and prepare management reports.

Analyzing transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved

Performing other related duties or assignments as directed by line Manager.

Following documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files

Preparing financial models and business plans and proposals for utility projects and evaluating investment opportunities.

Working closely with business development and technical teams for bids preparation and submission

Analyzing the funding needs of the project and arranging the required funds by negotiating long term project finance facilities with lenders

Preparing project Information Memorandums (IMs) for banks and comparing and evaluating terms sheets of different banks

Finalizing project and financing agreements and liaising with lenders, legal and technical advisors

Providing commercial support in contracts preparation
