Assists in specifying, planning, monitoring, and implementing the strategic goals of the company Manages the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain department providing some guidance in facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Determine and Monitoring Key Performance Indicators and take action as required to ensure targets are being exceeded. Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory. Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements. Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery) Enhance the system of return defective or unwanted goods or items. Implement new or improves supply chain strategy and processes to achieve efficiency with performance. Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers. Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams, to identify or qualify new suppliers. Identifying, developing and managing effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality, and delivery targets. Effectively controlling the flow of materials from various suppliers to both Branches & warehouse. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality, packing and delivery requirements. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders. Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving. Planning resources and coordinating with other functions to ensure the delivery of goods in the required quality, cost, time and budget. Managing inventories at multiple warehouses ensuring the right material is in the right location at the right time. Managing supply chain functions by developing relationships with key vendors Manages and monitors high volume supplying contracts and acts to ensure that the best interest is maintained and enhanced. Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality. Determine appropriate equipment and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials. Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution. Train and evaluate others Perform other duties as assigned
