The Design Engineer works in collaboration with our existing R&D team on upgrading and developing our systems, and will undertake theoretical and experimental duties that include but are not limited to: Leading projects on a rotational basis which includes assigning tasks to team members, planning projects in terms of time and budget along with following up on the project progress and updating related stakeholders Researching new methods and technologies to reach required outcomes/solutions Designing and creating required outputs/solutions based on proposed research outcomes or current needs using specialized softwares Responsible when required for conducting market surveys, developing BOQ for suggested solutions, following up on purchasing and handling all financial paperwork. Supervising manufacturing/assembly activities and ensuring complete adherence to the work design and project plan Prototyping and testing all aspects of implemented solutions and creating SOPs to be followed by site. Conducting regular inspection on site to maintain solutions functionality as well as ensuring site adherence to SOPs Proper documentation for the overall engineering activities which includes but not limited to hypothesis, research findings, calculations, designs and recommendations based on current status, resources and research Conducting reflection sessions upon project's completion to ensure effective communication among team members of newfound knowledge, skills and personal experiences Scope of operations Includes, but is not limited to, the following: Engineering Drawing Engineering Design Modeling and Material Engineering
