Job DescriptionManage warehouses inbound and outbound operations in raw material, packaging material, finished goods, consumables, and spare parts warehouses in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.Setup the warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization, and work to accommodate all the received shipments minimizing/eliminating the external storage cost.Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.Control the operational cost and keep it at a minimal level.Coach and motivate the staff to meet the organization targets.Visit all Warehouses on Regular Basis.Share daily/weekly/monthly reports for the area KPI’s and other reports that will be requested.Initiates development of, and recommends approval for procedures and systems that facilitate the achievement of enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness and ensure the integrity of all materials data. Commissions continuous reviews to identify enhancement potential.Achieves agreement with end-users on service standards and changes to current arrangements so that agreed performance criteria are met or exceeded.Analyses operational and activity reports and recommendations to identify patterns, trends, and potential problem areas and instigates appropriate change programs to improve the integrity and cost-effectiveness of operations.Prepares regular and ad-hoc higher-level reports for manager consideration on a variety of issues setting out details of progress, incidents, initiatives taken and recommending ways forward.
