Job Summary
A highly motivated, commercially-driven and experienced Director of Business Development (ideally with digital agency background) to own and drive company revenue growth and be responsible for new business.As Director of the Business Development, you will play a multi-faceted role across revenue/ business growth, client development, building a high performing team and managing multiple stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities 1
\[ Works closely with the business’s senior executives and stakeholders in overall strategy formulation and in ensuring that departmental strategies are aligned in order to safeguard against conflict of interests as well also setting a unified front in the business’s direction.
\[ Oversees the generation of proposals that are suited to prospective clients’ with the support of the marketing and design teams.
\[ Prospects and generates leads, leading to a business’s revenue generation and increased productivity as well as establishing and managing prospect databases.
\[ Executes outreach strategies by prospecting new businesses in order to utilize all available channels.
\[ Establishes strategic frameworks for capitalizing on identified opportunities across the business and approaching new prospects.
\[ Works closely with all key members of the business development team, and assists with execution of sensitive and high-value tasks as they arise.
\[ The Chief Business Development Officer also works with prospective business M&A executives in negotiations from conception all the way to the completion of transactions.
\[ Works and approves along with marketing and design teams in creating engaging content that will serve to attract prospects to the business.
\[ Create environment for attracting prospects and retaining consumers for continued/enhanced revenue generation, profitability, and overall performance.
Job Responsibilities 2
\[ Provides the business with useful insights for improved strategy formulation and informed decision-making, resulting in the improvement of performance across the business.
\[ Performs business performance analyses, market and competitive analyses, consumer behavior analyses across the business and draw practical and actionable insights/solutions that promote informed strategy-formulation and decision-making.
\[ Working with the research team, develop and manage an up-to-date understanding of the macroeconomic environment over the agreed plan period, using the information to consider the implications for existing and new sectors
\[ Undertake key research to understand the Business and project drivers of sectors, customers and potential opportunities. Build on an already established network of contacts across the group’s business targets
\[ Engage with sectors and customers to anticipate potential business opportunities and implement actions that will position the group with differentiated advantage
\[ Manages and prioritizes the business’s pipelines.
\[ Prepare programmes of external communication, customer engagement and brand promotion that will contribute to the achievement of the Group's objectives
\[ Organise and represent the group at key networking events to raise the company.
\[ Conveys information down the line to determine the effectiveness and performance of the entire business development department.
