As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for leading the IT project team (3 FTE) to deliver IT-projects and provide support to the IT department in Sohar. You will be cooperating with our IT department in Rotterdam and have a direct reporting line to the CEO of C. Steinweg Oman LLC. As the linking pin between the IT departments in the Netherlands and Oman, you will be in charge of aligning the expectations of all stakeholders (like end users, management etc.).
The focus of the IT project team will be on implementing new releases of business applications participating in IT and Business projects and functional support of business applications. Next to all regular project management tasks you will constantly try to improve and be focused on optimizing the IT environment within the organization in our organization in Oman.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Plan, improve and implement IT projects; all within scope, goals and deliverables;
• Creating schedule and project timeline;
• Managing the implementation of ITIL processes and the according Service Management System (ITRP)
• Evaluating and monitoring the quality and results of the ITIL processes;
• You are in charge of the quality assurance of the IT projects;
• Present to stakeholders progress reports as well as problems and solutions;
• Implement change when necessary to meet project output;
• Facilitating, instruction and coaching of the members of the project team and all colleagues of the IT team and IT project team who are involved in the operation and decision making of the project;
• Organizing regular meetings with coordinators, department management, IT teams and the business who are involved in the IT project;
• Evaluate and assess result of the IT project
