·         Responsible for establishing, documenting, implementing, maintaining and continually improving QHSE Management systems in accordance with the relevant ISO standards and client requirements.

·         Ensure that client contractual QHSE obligations, GCCS’ QHSE policy and procedures are implemented and observed in all locations.

·         Maintain the integrity of the ISO Management Systems documentation and ensure all locations have up to date forms, plans, manuals and related documents.

·         Maintain the integrity of documents for other standards like OHSAS 18001:2007.

·         Maintain a register of legal requirements to fulfill ISO requirements.

·         Establish QHSE Objectives and targets in consultation with Site Manager and Country QHSE Manager and update them on a regular basis on the performance to attain the objectives.

·         Collate and report the monthly QHSE statistics to the Site Manager, Country QHSE Manager.

·         Establish a training plan/program in consultation with Site Manager.

·         Conduct internal audits and ensure that corrective actions are satisfactorily completed.

·            Represent GCC Services during client QHSE Inspections and audits as directed by the Site Manager/ Country QHSE Manager.

·         Control and direct the Non Conformity product process and ensure that report registers for all projects are kept up-to-date.

·         Lead and direct the investigations of all incidents/accidents and verify that the Incident/Accident registers for the projects are kept up-to-date.

·         Verify training matrix and records of the Site are kept up-to-date.

·         Generate Safety Alerts and other QHSE related information and ensure distribution to the Site.

·         Advise top management on Emergency Response Procedures and ensure that regular emergency drill are done and reported.

·            Regularly verify the integrity of the fire equipment/systems in all locations.

·            Ensure GCC Services and client Journey Management Plans and Safe Driving Policy are observed.

·            Performs other duties as assigned by the Site Manager and Country QHSE Manager.
